What is Momentum?
Momentum is a registered charity established in 2004 which aims to help children and the families of children undergoing treatment for cancer in Surrey. Momentum was set up by parents who have first hand experience of these life-changing events, with the simple goal
of trying to help others in similar circumstances.
What do we do?
Momentum assists children undergoing treatment and their families in the following ways:

Through the provision of equipment and the improvement of
the facilities in local hospitals, where children undergoing cancer treatment will typically spend prolonged periods. Currently we are working with the Paediatric Department at Kingston Hospital. |

By organising events at which children with cancer and their siblings
have the opportunity to meet with other children who share their circumstances. |

By offering mutual support for parents and families. |
