Jenson was just 14-weeks-old when, on Christmas Eve 2019, he was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumour. Now one, he has spent most of his young life in hospital.
For children like Jenson, our mission is to make hospitals better places to be.
We're committed to changing bare and clinical, to bright and engaging; to transform the whole hospital experience so children can still be children, wherever they are. And this Christmas, we are asking for your help to do it.
We've partnered with The Big Give Christmas Challenge where, for ONE WEEK ONLY - from 12pm on Tuesday 1st December to 12pm on Tuesday 8th December - EVERY DONATION made to our Big Give fundraising page WILL BE DOUBLED!
Three reasons why you should support our Big Give Christmas appeal and help us bring some happy to hospital:
Many of these children will also go on to spend many more weeks and even months staying in hospital and undergoing intensive treatment.
Our hospital refurbishments can transform their whole experience
We transform bare and clinical paediatric areas to make them bright and child-friendly, designed in a way to improve the emotional and mental wellbeing of young patients and visitors.
Your donation WILL help make a difference
For one week only, from the 1st to the 8th December, whatever you donate, will be doubled,
There's no better time to power up your ££.
The Big Give Christmas challenge - what's it all about then?
For seven days, supporters of participating charities (like us) have the opportunity to have their donations doubled.
How does it work?
By match funding! Donations are doubled by secured pledges from our corporate partner, Manulife, who have kindly pledged £5,500 and from £5,500 pledged by the Lake House Charitable Trust, one of the nominated ‘Big Give Champions’.
