We've got some great Easter fundraising ideas to help you raise money for Momentum Children's Charity!
40 day Lent challenge
Lent begins on Wednesday 6th March and ends just before Easter, on the 20th April. Lent is known as a period for fasting in preparation for Easter.
Take on our 40 day Lent challenge and aim to raise £1 a day, with a total target of £40. Give something up for the 40 day period and ask friends and family to donate towards your Lenten fast - you could give up chocolate or fizzy drinks!
The amount you raise could help pay for a music therapy session for a child at home.
What's more, by taking part in the fundraiser, you will be entered into our Lindt chocolate hamper prize draw.
We know that everyone loves chocolate, so thanks to our friends at Lindt who have donated oodles of it to us, we are calling on the community, companies and schools to host a Chocolate for Charity fundraiser. We supply the chocolate, you ask for people to donate in return for the goodies.
How it works:
Set a date for your event - we suggest the last week of term for schools or a couple of days before Good Friday for companies and organisations.
Why not add an interesting twist to the normal coffee morning fundraiser by swapping cakes for hot cross buns? Perfect as an office fundraiser!
Easter Egg hunts are always a favourite. You could host an egg hunt around a school, office or your own home and charge participants an entry fee. Thanks to Lindt, we can supply the chocolates.
If you are feeling crafty then you can always hold a egg painting contest. Supporters pay to decorate an egg and enter it into a competition to see which one looks the best.
Similar to the Easter Egg hunt, you could hold an Egg and Spoon race where you charge an entry fee to compete. You can even use chocolate eggs for the race and then every participant wins a tasty treat!
