Poole Road Recreational Ground, Poole Road, West Ewell, KT19 9RY

Distance:
1 mile

Be our hero! Join Momentum and Ollie's Star for a special day of fun and celebration in tribute to all our Superhero children and families.

Dress up as your favourite superhero and join us for a one-mile walk to help raise funds. Bring along your friends and enjoy a fun afternoon with plenty of entertainment for the children, and a prize-giving ceremony for our winners and of course for the best Superhero costume.  The money raised during the day will be split between Momentum and Ollie's Star(A named fund with CCLG to raise money for rarer children's cancer research).

The walk begins at 11am, with registration at 10:30am.  Poole Road Recreation Ground, often referred to as the King George V Fields, is situated off Poole Road where there is vehicular access to the car park. There will be entertainment, stalls, games and fairground rides until 3pm with a family picnic area and food to buy as even superheroes need to eat! Toilet facilities are available in the Harrier centre on site.

Entry fee is £12 per family (team of 4), plus £3 for each extra member. This includes your Superhero goodie bag and a photo opportunity with your superhero at the end! For work teams taking part, there will be competitions between adult teams after the walk- let's see which company wins the chocolate hamper!

To set up your fundraising page, please go to our dedicated virginmoneygiving Momentum Superhero Walk page, clicking on the right hand "start fundraising" tab. You can also pay your entry fee straight onto your page, or via Eloise in the office.  Once your page is set up you can use it to ask friends and family to sponsor you to dress up and do the walk to raise even more money for the amazing charities!  Why not have a competition with your class or workmates to see who can raise the most?

The superhero walk and fun day was first set up to celebrate the life of Ollie Lovis.  It takes part around his birthday each year to thank Momentum Children's Charity for the support given to Ollie and his family and to raise money to help us support other families.  Ollie's Star raises money for children's cancer research in the hope that in the future, children like Ollie will have kinder treatments available and more children will be cured of childhood cancers, saving other families from the heartache of losing a child.
