10.30am - 4pm

1 mile

This year, our Superheroes Walk is bigger and better! Join us for a special Superheroes festival, starting with a heroes treasure trail designed for children of all ages. There will also be a range of superheroes waiting to greet children along the accessible one mile route, including Batman, Wonder Woman, Spider-Man, Superman and of course, our mascot, Mo the Owl.

It's always a fantastic day and a great excuse for children (and parents!) to dress up as their favourite superheroes with a prize for best dressed!

  • Date: Sunday 17th May
  • Time: 10.30am for the treasure trail. Family fun day 11.30am - 4pm.
  • Location: Poole Road Recreation Ground, Ewell
  • Distance: Just under 1 mile

After the walk there will be a superhero festival including fun fair rides, soft play for under 5s, craft activities  live entertainment, activities, gift stalls, hot and cold food and bar. We often have some of our local 999 first response heroes attend too!

There will be dance presentations initially from children and then live music to dance to yourselves while you sip your beer or Pimms.

About the day

The Superheroes Day was first set up to celebrate the life of Ollie Lovis. It takes part around his birthday each year to thank Momentum Children’s Charity for the support given to Ollie and his family and to raise money to help us support other families. All money raised is split between Momentum Children’s Charity and Ollie’s Star
