Innovation 1st
Richmond-based marketing and advertising agency Innovation 1st chose Momentum as their Charity of the Year, and we are supporting them over the coming months in a range of fundraising activities.
Most recently, the agency came up with a fantastic challenge – a stadium to stadium challenge which finished at Twickenham stadium just before the Rugby World Cup semi-final on 24 October – raising £1,500.
The challenge set for the Innovation 1st team was to dress up as superheroes and race each other from Cardiff Millennium Stadium to Twickenham Stadium. The winner was the first one to make it back to Twickenham stadium near the Innovation 1st headquarters in Richmond.
The heroes had no money, food or water, only promotional products from their category, which they had to use in exchange for travel and achieving certain tasks. Those tasks included selfies outside both stadiums, with an animal and with a rugby player as well as at least part of the journey taking part in a car and getting a free drink.
They were divided into partners making 4 teams racing to get back. All teams made it back just in time for the South Africa and New Zealand Rugby World Cup game. Hydraman & The Gulp made it back first and managed to achieve all of the tasks.
It was a fantastic fundraising idea, and a lot of fun for everyone involved! Watch their film from the event, and be inspired!
"Supporting local charities and communities is a big part of our culture at Innovation 1st so we were delighted to be able to do something fun with our product heroes to raise money and awareness for Momentum as well as share some great promotional products.”
