What is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month?
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, adopted by charities in the UK and worldwide, to raise awareness of childhood cancer.
Almost 4,000 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer every year in the UK.
That's 10 families every single day who receive the shocking news that their child is seriously ill. Treatment is a long and gruelling journey. Families will undoubtedly go through the most heart-wrenching times of their lives. And this is where we can help.
Why you should get involved
Every September we encourage people across South West London and Surrey to 'Hold For Gold' in support of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, to honour the brave local children we look after, and raise funds towards our vital family support services.
This year is no different and we are asking everyone to take part during September. Whether you get a group of friends together, get your local clubs involved, your school or your office - Be Bold and Hold For Gold!
How much Gold can you Hold?

More ways to support
Not keen on events or social media but would still like to show your support you can donate here. It costs us around £10,000 for the Family Support Team to support our 150 families every month and we rely solely on individual donations so every one really does count.
