Momentum hosted a wonderful trip to Legoland Windsor Resort on a Golden Bus (kindly loaned by Arriva) as a special pre-Christmas treat for some of the families we support. The children enjoyed going on rides, decorating biscuits with Mother Christmas, playing in the pirates’ adventure playground and chatting with Santa Clause in his magical grotto.
Momentum Children talk about Cancer
A little girl called Roxanne recently expressed to us a wish to make a film to help other children undergoing treatment for cancer. So we invited a small group of Momentum children to get together for a special ‘Circle Time’. We asked them to share some of their experiences whilst they were ill. We hope it will be useful for both sick children, or their friends and family members, to understand what it is like to be diagnosed with cancer and the ‘journey’ to recovery.
