Hollywood star Tom Holland raises over £1000 for Momentum
Momentum children’s charity has it own celebrity superhero in the form of its Patron the actor Tom Holland, who currently plays Spiderman in the new film Captain America: Civil War, after he raised over £1,000 at a private screening of his new film in London by holding a Q&A session in aid of Momentum.
Actor Tom, 19, who was born in Kingston and still lives there with his family, said: “There are a number of charities that I am happy to be involved with but Momentum is my most local charity. I think they do an absolutely amazing job of supporting children with cancer and other life-limiting conditions.”
He said he was unlikely to be able to attend Momentum’s Sponsored Superheroes Walk in Nonsuch Park in Cheam on 15th May but sent a message of support to all the children taking part.
He said: “I think Momentum’s children are all superheroes. They are all bravely fighting their own battles and I hope the Superheroes walk is a lot of fun and raises plenty of money to help the charity continue supporting sick children locally.”
