Job opportunities

Family Support Worker - part-time role available at 25 hours per week

Home-based, with travel to assigned hospital/s, home visits (within the catchment area for Kingston/St George’s Hospital or St Peter’s Hospital and across the County of Surrey) and office meetings in Kingston-Upon Thames.

We are looking to recruit a highly organised individual to support our families that have a child with cancer or life-challenging condition. 

You will be responsible for providing practical and emotional needs-led support services to our families, recognising the challenges they face and responding to their individual needs. Being responsive and empathetic to others needs and concerns along will excellent communication skills are essential for this role. 

This is a flexible role across a range of venues including local hospitals and families’ homes. Our main office is based in Kingston-Upon-Thames, where the majority of team-based meetings are held.
